    What do you do when you want to work with young athletes, and they don’t have a clue about strength training? How do you make it FUNCTIONAL for there sport?

    Strength Training

    1. Body weight based exercises

    2. Band and tubing training

    3. Free weights

    4. M-balls and sandbells

    The best strategy is to use a combination of the different equipment to maximize performance. Each set of equipment brings its own uniqueness to the training program. The key is to use appropriate PROGRAM DESIGN PRINCIPLES. PROGRAM DESIGN is crucial.

    The Seven steps to heaven

    • Core assessment/Muscle imbalance repair
    • Strength Training
    • Foot work mechanics/ Lateral Speed training
    • Plyometrics
    • Shooting clinics/One on One Player development
    • Nutrition
    • AAU Tournaments
