    Registration is now open for Toronto's Number #1 Non-Stanchion Basketball Tournament and the longest summer basketball event.....The 38th Annual Jane and Finch Classic (August 3rd to August 7th) @ HOOPDOME

    We welcome all REP, AAU, OBA, MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS TO COME OUT AND PLAY AGAINST THE BEST TALENT FROM THE GTA at the MARCH WEEK INSANITY BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT – (ALL GAMES WILL BE PLAYED ON FULL SIZE GYM FLOOR.  ABSOLUTELY NO HALF COURT GAMES)

    3) The last major Rep, AAU, Summer Basketball event in the city of Toronto, and the last best opportunity for Prep, Colleges, and Universities Coaches to recruit major talent from the Greater Toronto Area

    4) Media Exposure for teams and individual players who compete at a High level: North Pole Hoops (NPH); OnPoint Media; Canada Ballers and Most Dope Productions (MDP)

    5) Compete against the best competition in the Greater Toronto Area

    Hello Coaches, Parents and Team Managers,

    Registration is now open for the 38th annual Jane and Finch Classic. Location: Hoopdome, St. Basil's the great college school, and James Cardinal Mcguigan.

    WHAT IS THE JANE AND FINCH CLASSIC?

    1) Toronto's Number #1 Non-Stanchion Basketball Tournament and the longest summer basketball event.

    2) The gathering of the most skillful players and best teams in Toronto, and the GTA competing against teams from across North America.

    3) The last major Rep, AAU, Summer Basketball event in the city of Toronto, and the last best opportunity for Prep, Colleges, and Universities Coaches to recruit major talent from the Greater Toronto Area

    4) Media Exposure for teams and individual players who compete at a High level: North Pole Hoops (NPH); OnPoint Media; Canada Ballers and Most Dope Productions (MDP)

    RULES, REGULATIONS AND FEES

    1.
    Teams are guaranteed three (3) games during regular tournament play, and a winning team can receive up to (5) games max based on advancement during tournament.

    2. Each Individual Team Membership Fees:

    (Boys)

    • 10/11u, 12, 13u, 14u - Only $425 (all fees due July 22, 2016)
    • 15u, 16u, 17u, 19u - Only $450 (all fees due July 22, 2016)
    • Open Elite Men’s - Just $500 (all fees due July 22, 2016)


    (Girls)
    • 10/11u, 12, 13u, 14u - Only $425 (all fees due July 22, 2016)
    • Junior - 15u, 16, 17,u - Only $450 (all fees due July 22, 2016)
    • Senior – Open Women’s - Just $475 (all fees due July 22, 2016)

    3. All cheques can be made out to: Community Triangle.

    4. Admission - $7.00 for adults (per day), $5.00 for high students (per day).

    5. Player Registration – Teams must provide the full name and date of birth for each player when registering. Players must provide proof of age at the registration table prior to their first tournament game.

    6. The official playing rules will be federation high school basketball rules

    PLAYING TIME

    1. All Open Men's, Women, 21u, and 19u games will consist of Two (2), 18 minute stop time half's. If there is a 20 point spread, the time will run straight. Teams will be given a total of (4) Timeouts per game. (2) Full timeouts and (2) 30 sec timeouts. Timeouts can be carried over.


    2. All 17u, 16u, 15u and 14u games will consist of Two (2), 16 minute stop time half's. If there is a 20 point spread, the time will run straight. Teams will be given a total of (4) Timeouts per game. (2) Full timeouts and (2) 30 sec timeouts. Timeouts can be carried over.


    3. All 13u, 12u, 11u and 10u games will consist of Two (2), 14 minute stop time half's. If there is a 25 point spread, the time will run straight. Teams will be given a total of (4) Timeouts per game. (2) Full timeouts and (2) 30 sec timeouts. Timeouts can be carried over.
